Stuck Up opened a few weeks ago at
323East Gallery and the Inside the Rock Poster Street Team was there. Many of us collect stickers,
DB Burkeman has taken that to a whole new level with over 4000 of them on display.
323East Gallery and
DB Burkeman are proud to present this traveling
exhibition which has been curated from Burkeman’s extensive personal
collection. The collection provides an unparalleled opportunity to
explore the expanding role that stickers have played in popular culture
over the past four decades. “STUCK-UP” features stickers from street art
legends like Banksy, Barry McGee, Shepard Fairey, Space Invader and
KAWS. In addition internationally lauded contemporary artists like Andy
Warhol, Jenny Holzer, Keith Haring, Damien Hirst and Tom Sachs are all
shown side by side with hundreds of anonymous stickers peeled from the
streets around the world.
STUCK-UP will be on exhibition from March 24th, 2012 - April 15th 2012. Check out the
